Bass Piano notes and in "Speed your Journey" the first note on bar 36 has 2 notes in tnhe same place?
The Time is 4/4 but there are bars with more notes? If I change the time to 5/4 or 6/4 there are rests filled in. I am not a musician. I find Musescore vey useful when learning a new score as I can play individual notes with the lyrics in front of me on the PC.
I can only get 2 notes in the same place by putting one as 1 and the other as 2?

Possibly you need "voices" as described here in the handbook:

If not, you need to include your score and expalin what you need to do.
