Most of slurs and phrase markings have disappeared.

I created a piece of music and wrote in 8 pages of slurs and phrase markings and saved the project. The next time I opened the project nearly every slur and phrase marking were no longer there with no way to retrieve them. Maybe someone knows what has happened?

Please attach the score for inspection. My initial guess is that you anchored your slurs at one place and then visually dragged them of to somewhere rather than changing the anchor points.

All I can confirm is that they're not in this file (not even invisible or off-page or whatever).
Is there any slight chance you've opened a different file? Perhaps MuseScore at some point crashed on you, and you worked on the recovered file (and saved to it) but then re-opened the "normal" file afterwards?

I think Musescore was struggling to play back the score especially when the tremolos were playing back and maybe this caused a crash? I don't remember it actually crashing and closing. I added piano pedal markings and I think it was after that the slurs disappeared. I will have to manually go back and put them in again. I have now saved it as a new file and I am currently working on that one as I don't trust the old file anymore. There's obviously a major bug here as this has never happened before.
