Section break pause shouldn't affect repeats
It's pretty straightforward: if the last barline of a section is a repeat barline, the playback shouldn't stop for the time specified in the section break's "pause" property when it reaches the section break for the first time. It sould jump to the start of the repeated section immediately. It should only wait when it reaches the section break the second time.

The same happens at jumps and repeats (e.g. Da Capo) - if the Da Capo sign is at a section break, the playback pauses for the time specified in the section break. Instead, it should jump to the beginning immediately.

indeed, as shown in that issue as well.. The section pause playback is entirely unaware of repeat structures currently.
