Installation problems

I have tried to install MuseScore onto my Windows laptop but partway through the installation I get error codes 2502 and 2503 come up and the installation halts.Previously, about a year or so ago, I then tried to download MuseScore but had to give up because the installation just hung repeatedly partway through. I hoped that by now, a year later and several updates later, all would be well but I am disappointed to find that I still can’t download it. Can anyone shed any light on this please as I’d really like to start using the software.
