Tabs Key Signatures

Two questions.
1. How do you add a key signature to guitar tabs? It doesn't seem to work, and when I try to put on, say a d# key to a tab, it stays at its original key.
2. Is there a way to change the distortion/overdrive of the electric guitar?

  1. You don't. Key signatures are entirely irrelevant for tabs as they use numbers to show which fret to use (and each fret is a half tone).

  2. You can choose a different sound for the distortion channel using the mixer. If you can find a soundfont with a sound to your liking.
