How to add brackets in time signature

I want to add the time signature in the image but I really don't know how, or if it's even possible.

I think you'll need to add the (C) as an image. Create an empty score with the C time signature. Click on the first rest and use Ctrl+T to add text, in this case the brackets. Drag them into position and use the inspector to get the right size. Next, make the first rest invisible, then R-click the stave and in Stave Properties uncheck "Show clef", "Show barlines", and check "Invisible stave lines".

You can now use the camera icon on the toolbar to capture the image. R-click to save in print mode with a transparent background - I prefer SVG which is scalable. It will be saved in your Musescore / Images folder. To apply it, just open the folder in your file manager and drag it on to a rest or note where you want. If you like you can then drag it from the score to your palette for future use.
