Is it possible to copy and paste when using Local time signatures

A work that I am transcribing has different time signatures in different parts (6/8 is the basic meter, but some parts are in Alla Breve - split common time). I can create this using Musescore's Local Time Signature function (https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/time-signatures#local-time-signatur…) which is great, but every time I select some of the voice with a local time signature to copy and paste it, it won't let me. I can select it but as soon as I hit "copy" I get a message:

"Please select the complete tuplet/tremolo and retry the command"

Is there a way to copy and paste when using Local time signatures? It is going to slow down my transcription if I cannot copy and paste elements.
