MuseScore Crashes When Connected to MIDI Input

When I open MuseScore and my computer isn't connected to anything, it opens and works normally, but when I have it connected to a digital piano (Kawai CA48B) and try to open MuseScore, it crashes and shows the crash report window. Please help! My OS is Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) and my computer model is Lenovo 20M9CTO1WW (Lenovo ThinkPad P52).
