How to edit a staff?
I have imported a MIDI file of a piano performance, However, it shows in Muse as a single treble clef staff. How do I change the staff to be a piano treble/bass clef staff?

This is probably a result of the MIDI file format itself. It is probably stored as a MIDI 0 file,which puts everything on a single track. If you have the original file, you can save it as a MIDI 1 file and that should clear up your problem.
If not, perhaps someone else here knows how to divide that file.

It is most certainly a MIDI 1 file. Regardless, I would think you should have complete control of the look of the staff even after the fact. I would imagine there has to be a simple way to change a staff. I mean, what a pain it would be if you start a score and later on find out you hosed a staff and couldn't change it. Hrm.

The current trunk has a feature to split a staff into 2, based on a middle note.
