Putting Guitar Riff in same Staff as Voice Part
Hi,
I have a vocal lead sheet and I want to notate a guitar riff at the very beginning of the piece within the vocal staff. Right now I've just written "guitar riff" and put a line on top over the riff to make it appear cohesive, but I'd love to make it stand out a bit more from the following melody. Any ideas? Maybe I can make all the note heads tiny? Or is there a music theory convention I'm oblivious to that I'm supposed to use in this case? Score is attached.
Thanks!

I'd indeed mark those as small using the "chords" section of the inspector, so the stems and flags follow along as well. And disconnect the first vocal note from the riff notes preceding it.
