Ties to notes in a second ending

The only I have done this is to use a slur character and have the pseudo-tied notes not played. The problem is that you do not get playback from it. So I suggest that if you were to add a tie or ties to a note or a chord respectively that are in a second volta, it should connect to the last notes before the start of the first volta.
