Delete extra rests
Hi,
After importing a PDF I get extra rests in some bars I cannot delete (even though there are now more notes in the bar than there should be.
How do I select and delete them?
Is the + symbol a clue?

Select the rests you don't want and press Ctrl+Delete to remove them from the measure. Cmd+Delete on Mac.

Ah!! Thank you VERY much for this. It workrd a treat.
The + indicates that the bar's actual duration is longer than the current Time Signature (and a - would indicated shorter). Use [Ctrl][Del] with caution - if you select a note or rest and then press this key combination it will delete the note or rest but also, effectively, remove that slice of time from the whole bar so if you have a bar with multiple Voices, those will be affected too.
