I have a file with orchestra parts. I made a solo part for the trumpet, and used to practice with orchestra instruments. The trumpet part sounded like a trumpet. Now when I play back the trumpet part, it sounds like a piano and I can't hear the other instruments. What did I do wrong?

Most likely you've changed the default soundfonts in the synthesizer and now no longer have GM-compatible one (such as the MuseSore_General default) on top of the list.
