No sound

As far as I can google and reddit it seems like a common problem but not a common solution.
The program has no sound for me, at all. There is no sound when placing notes, the playback function and synthesizer is greyed out and the I/O settings are 100% blank.
I tried following the few things here https://musescore.org/en/node/96811 but there aren't really any solutions other than resetting settings, which I've done.
What do, how fix?

I'm running Windows 10 Home x64, Muse 3.6.2.548021803 and Steelseries Siberia (though my headset shouldn't make a difference in the software part)

Try step 9. Especially this bit "Be sure to say which version of MuseScore (Help→About) and what operating system you are on, what audio devices you are using, and what settings you see in Edit→Preferences→I/O after doing the revert to factory settings as per suggestion 2 above."
