no sound in 0.9.6 2148

some weeks ago, see:

it was told that the 0.9.6 2148 (debian, run under Ubuntu 9.04) had no sound, and not even the blue line running...

I am now under ubuntu 9.10, and Mscore goes on without sound.

What are the prospects?
