Measure Length
I am making sheet music for La Campanella and there's a long chromatic scale in one bar and it extends off the page. How do I fix that?

I don't need to extend the duration of the measure, I just want to make it so that it doesn't extend off the page.

You can split a measure at a point of your choice.

The overly long measure will wrap to the next system after the split point.
If you don't want to split it over two systems you will have to use a wider page size (landscape?) or smaller margins or reduce the size of everything by choosing a smaller staff space scaling. Those settings are found in Format>Page Settings.

Thank you! The staff space scaling fixed it.
Add a system break to the last note that matches in the system. Or decrease the scaling.
