Popping speakers on Mac
So this issue has been brought up before but there has been no solution offered yet. After opening Musescore 3 on Mac, the speakers will pop sporadically, both during playback in Musescore, and just any media in general. This issue persists after Musescore is launched and remains even after it is closed. However, it would not start if Musescore was not launched from start up. This has been going on for years from the previous post about this same issue. It really affects the experience of playing back audios. Is there a fix please?

There is no single magic fix, no. If there were, it would've been offered to those other reports as well.
The playback system has been largely rewritten for the upcoming MuseScore 4 though, so it might pay off to test out a nightly build and see if the problem still occurs there.
