problems with contrabass part
So I did a score for a string quintet. I used a regular bass clef for the double bass. But when I print out the score, it shows as an octave up on the string bass part. I can fix the bass part by using the string bass clef which is an octave lower. But then the bass part in the score shows an octave lower. I don't know why it doesn't look like it does in the score or how to change it.

Possibly you might have to adjust octave transposition in your Part settings.
If you share the score and clearly state which view contains your desired end result and which doesn't we can work from there.

We should add 8va Bassa C Clefs to the main clefs palette in the new musescore update, maybe a "create custom clefs". The harmonics allowed me to get more notes on the musesounds upright bass but there's a range gap between G3 & C4
