How do I enter? Small notes free in beat.
The last measure has small notes that sound out of time. How are they written in MuseScore?

Grace notes may be what you are looking for. Use the ones "after the note", change the duration of each note to crotchet/quarter note, use cross-staff beaming:

Another way would be to use a second voice, make a 7-tuplet and enter a rest and normal notes. The grace-note method gives you small notes with short stems but requires you to alter note positioning (X-vales) in Inspector. The second voice method gives better positioning but then you need to make the notes small and alter the stem length. There are likely several other ways to do this.

Many thanks! Succeeded with the second voice method regarding the notes. However, I do not manage to reduce the very last fermata sign down to the size of the small notes. Would be grateful if you have any idea.

You can add a fermata (as a text character) from Special Characters > Musical symbols > Holds and pauses.
The font size of the fermata can be adjusted to your liking.

Thanks! Yes, I can adjust the fermata but not reduce it in size with the inspector.

To change the size, you need a non-functional fermata inside a text element (such as a staff text) and added via the special characters window; not from the palette.
