Musescore 4 - Duplicate instrument
It takes quite a while to add new instrument, set its names, brackets, staves, and VST with all the settings configured.
Please add the ability in the Instruments side panel to secondary-click an instrument and choose "Duplicate". Clicking this will duplicate the instrument, with all its settings, notes, VST configuration, and place it below the selected instrument.
This will greatly decrease the time it takes to setup a custom template

I agree this would be very useful. Especially when working with a score that someone else created, where I'm not sure what all properties they set for a particular part.
My use case is that they created a single instrument for lead vocals and several backup vocal parts, all with a single voice. I want to be able to duplicate the instrument and then remove the parts that don't apply so that I have the lead vocals separate.
