New install of MuseScore 4 can't read Muse 3 files

Just installed MuseScore 4 on Windows 10 64 bit operating system.

First time it opened, I got an error message about kernals being missing but it seemed to open and look fine. When I navigate to open my old scores (made with V 3), they don't appear in the file list. I can see them with the old version just fine.

Any thoughts?
