MuseScore4- how to paste a line of copied text into lyrics.

With MuseScore 3 one only had to copy text, ctrl "L" a note to start, and and repeatedly press ctrl V to paste each syllable. In MuseScore 4 it only pastes the first syllable repeatedly. I am unable to install MuseScore3 with the newer version. I tried to get handbook help but it didn't list the newer version as an option. I'd rather not individually type in each syllable when I have the text in a Word file ready for copying and pasting.
