Drone
I am trying to create a drone as a background for practicing chord tone mastery on bass. The one I created was similar to this: https://musescore.com/user/34053444/scores/6328959
The issue I have is that the warm pad instrument fades out after five bars while the electric piano continues. Why would the instrument fade when the whole notes are all tied?

A Pad implies something to be struck; in which case the instrument nature is for the sound of it to naturally decay after being struck.

Thanks. The electric piano continues to sound with the whole notes tied while the warm synthesizer doesn't. Are you specifying the warm synthesizer but not the piano?

Sorry, you lost me here. I specified nothing but simply made an attempt to explain why something called a Warm Pad might not sustain its sound indefinitely due to the nature of Pad instruments.
