New to MuseScore..Cant get new Sounds to work..

Hello all..
I'm new to musescore, I've installed it ok but the sounds aren't showing up..
In the mixer I only have MS Basic..
I've downloaded the twice now to different locations reinstalled a few times,.
I can't seem to point Musescore at the folder except in the musehub which doesn't seem to work..
Any help would be appreciated..
