Musescore 4 - pop up windows don't load on external monitor
Using MS4 on an Acer Nitro 5 laptop running Windows 11 Home (Version 22H2, OS Build 22621.963) with an external monitor through HDMI. Musescore runs fine when displayed on the primary (laptop internal) monitor, but when displayed on the external monitor when I try to load a menu item that has a pop up (eg, add instruments, save as) then the program freezes. I can't move it back to the primary monitor, nor exit the program. Only way to use it is through closing it using Task Manager.

Try pressing Esc to close the invisible dialog.
Not that it makes the software usable for you that way, but it would confirm that in theory that dialog window is considered to be "open" somewhere.

Took a while for me to get the time to come back and try this.
When open on the secondary monitor, the Add Instruments dialog doesn't display, and freezes the application from other input. Pressing escape closes it and resumes ordinary behaviour. Similar for clicking on the Parts icon
Page settings appears, as does style settings, when clicking from the properties tab.
Working through the menu items, these items do not appear to display on secondary monitor:
File -> Save (on a new score)
File -> Save a copy...
File -> Save as...
File -> Save to cloud
File -> Publish to Musescore.com
File -> Export
File -> Project Properties
File -> Parts
Edit -> Preferences
View -> Playback setup
Help -> Check for update
Help -> About
Help -> About MusicXML
Help -> Revert to Factory Settings
Diagnostic -> Muse Sampler-> Check Muse Sampler
Will be adding comments to https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/15217 as it seems a similar issue
