Musescore 4 Piano held notes

I'm currently having an issue with the piano on Muse Sounds. When I play a note in the right hand that's held (say a whole note), then I have the same note in the left hand bass line, the left hand won't play the note. For example, there is an E in the right hand in this measure. The left hand E will not produce sound. This only occurs in the editor, it plays fine once uploaded, but it is quite annoying.
