When opening multiple files multiple copies of Musescore 4 open up as well?

Any reason why, if I select 10 .mscz files to open up simultaneously 10 new copies of Musescore 4 open up as well? It would seem to make more sense for one active running copy of Musescore 4 to open up with the 10 files inside.

Unless I am doing something wrong.

The new playback engine is the reason. For now it requires a separate instance of the program to be able to manage score playback for each score.
