constant musescore not responding messages
Every 2 minutes MuseScore will freeze and say "MuseScore not responding". Eventually after 15 or so seconds, it will go back to normal only to freeze again 2 minutes later. It's extremely annoying and makes score writing so tedious because of the constant interruptions.

That's probable autosave kicking in and for some reason needing a lot of work to save your score. You can lower the interval or even turn autosave off completely in Edit > Preferences > General
