Sudden Musescore 4 Crash and Lost Save

I created a Symphonic Orchestral template score with Musescore 4 and began working on it a bit. I saved it, then created a new Orchestral file with the same name. When prompted I replaced the new file with the old then started working on that one (altered the template a bit, added bass clarinet, piano, and chimes). After working on it for a few days and making substantial progress it suddenly crashed today, and despite me saving frequently, deleted all of my work back to where the original file was. Only the original file (or at least the original work) exists and the new progress is gone. Is there any way I can recover it?
