Corrupt file solution to reopen and use

Hi! I'm having trouble with a file that I've been working on for around 8 hrs. Saved it intermittently every 5 minutes, and then closed my laptop. When I reopened Musescore, there is a pop-up that says the 'file is critically corrupted and cannot be processed'. What is the solution for this?
