MuseScore 4 - Customize time signatures scale for conductor scores

• Dec 29, 2022 - 13:27

Hi, is there a way to hide all time signatures of a system except one on a given measure, and set it a custom scale (to improve readability for the conductor)?
1) It was possible to increase X and Y scale in MuseScore 3 without limit, but in MuseScore 4 it seems that it can't go higher than 300%
2) In MuseScore 4 I didn't find how to hide all time signatures except one on a given measure
Checking/unchecking "show courtesy time signature on previous system" as described on the following page doesn't work:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/time-signatures
I have to select the staves to exclude and uncheck "show time signature" in "Staff/part properties"
But for example I would need to show time signature on "Violin I" stave and hide it on "Viola" stave on page 1, and then do the contrary on page 2

Yes, there is!! To select one time signature, press shift and click on it with the mouse/touchpad. Then, hide it as normal. It is not too dissimilar to the way you can create local time signatures. Hope this helps!
