No midi out in MS4 (in contrast to MS3)

Can select my midi (Casio CDPS 360) in preferences in/out, input works fine, creates notes but there is no sound going out to midi, neither in case of note input, playback nor bei clicking on notes (in contrast to MS 3), sound goes only to my Mac (OS Ventura 13.1).
