Downloaded muse_hub.exe fails to load ...
Went to musescore.org, selected musescore download for windows 10 ... file muse_hub.exe appeared
to be downloaded. When selected, I get "muse hub getting ready ... will launch once it's ready ...
then window disappears ... and nothing else happens.
Please advise ,,, thanks.

I have the same problem
MS4 takes a very long time to start up. You've probably already figured this out, but just be very patient.
I had the same problem with 4.0
I interacted here with the support but they were unable to find a solution
Got back to Musescore3
I just tried again with 4.1 hoping they would have solved the issue, but still exactly the same thing
"MuseHub is getting ready, will launch" and then that screen vanishes and nothing happens ...
So disappointing
