Missing files

So I have a mac and use Musescore 4. I was cleaning out my files and came across a seemingly empty file labeled "scores" I thought it was a forgotten file I made so I put it in the trash. I DID NOT empty the trash. But when I went back to Musescore 4 everything was gone!

So I took the folders out And back where it was but it didn't do anything. Is there anything I can do to recover these Scores?
