Multimeasure rest (still) unihides hidden staves?

Hello.
I've found a bug on GitHub, that exactly descibes my issue: when I write vocal part, where there is a lot of empty measures, I'd like to use multimeasure rests. Bu as the score often splits into multiple staves, when there is a solo or unison part, I'd like to hide unised staves. But I cannot have both - if I turn on multimeasure rests, hidden staves with only rests appear, if I turn off multimeasure rests, everything looks good, except for large numbers of empty measures.
I've got 'Hide empty staves' turned on and 'Do not hide empty staves in first system' turned off.
The bug on GitBub seems to be resolved and closed (https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/12417), but I'm still experiencing this issue. My MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223472200, revision: 5485621
According to 'Check for updates' I've got the most recent version.

What should I do to fix the issue?
