Making a new line in text box (dynamics) goes extremely far

I have a subito p. marking I want to use, the subito prefix is too long as the note is at the beginning of the measure so it would appear in the measure before, so I wanted to enter a new line so it lines up vertically. When I did that, it went way far down and I didn't see anything in properties (formerly inspector) to fix this. Measure 25 in trumpet 1
