ritardando
I'm not sure how to edit a ritardando, ive looked around and cant find anything specific to my question, how do i edit a ritardando, i wanna know how to effect the slow down part/edit the percentage the ritardando slows down by, and i would just like to know where that is

For the benefit of others:
- from the Tempo palette place the rit. line over the desired measures in your score
- select the rit. line
- in the Properties window, select the Playback tab
- then in Tempo change adjust values for Amount (%) and Easing method (Normal / Ease in / Ease out).

Thanks, this should be in the handbook: this was one of Musescore's "selling" points to upgrade but then they let us hanging like that?!

It is in the handbook https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/tempo-markings#Tempo_change_lines but is rather obscure and lacking detail. You can edit the handbook. Please feel free to add further clarification.
