Creating the slash and double slash across the note stem

Is it possible to create a score from a WIlliam Byrd piece which includes double and single slashes across the note stem to indicate ornaments?

Can you supply a picture of what is needed? Would it be anything line the diagonal lines used for tremolos?
If so, you can perhaps use tremolo beams - and uncheck the "Play" property of the tremolo beam to avoid incorrect playback.
