Cannot reset color in MS4 which was set in MS 3

I had some note heads set to red color in MS 3.
When I load the score in MS4 the color in the apperance submenu shows black and the reset button is greyed out. I cannot change the note to any color, it always stays red.
For notes that did not have their color changed in MS3 the color selection in MS4 works a expected.
My current workaround is, to open the score in MS3 to change reset all colors and recolor stuff in MS4.
I am glad i realized this before ever saving this score in MS4.
Can anyone reproduce this? Any ideas how to better deal with it?

Attach the scores - the MS3 original plus the MS4 with the problem.

Thank you for your message. Sorry I didn't think that far...
Your message actually contains the solution in "plus the MS4".
The problem only exists after opening the MS3 file in MS4.
As soon as the file is saved once with MS4 the problem goes away.
