Moving staves in more than one system?

MuseScore 4 is fantastic! Thanks for all your hard work on it.

When entering music, I often find that adjacent staves are too close or far apart for the music they contain.

In Sibelius and Finale, you can simply drag a staff to move it up or down. With page justification turned on, the page's other systems arrange themselves accordingly; with justification off, the systems below the dragged staff stay in place relative to it.

You can also do this, simultaneously and uniformly, in multiple adjoining systems, on one or more pages, by selecting any range of bars in a staff and dragging the selection up/down. As you do, the number of systems on the affected pages automatically adjusts (except where page breaks have been added).

For finer control, you can press Alt+up/down arrow to uniformly move selected staves.

In case any of this is unclear, here's a video showing how it works:

I've tried this in MuseScore, but dragging staves has no effect.

I understand that a staff in one system can be moved with the "spacer" tools, but that's a multi-step process (open palette, click and hold spacer, drag and drop it onto staff, click spacer to select it [BTW, why is that necessary, when it's already selected?], drag spacer). Must this be done separately for each system you want to move? Is there no way to move them together, uniformly?

Thanks!

Maybe this will help :
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/layout-and-formatting go to "Page" section. Using the fields "Enable vertical justification of staves (as of 3.6): Factor for distance between systems" will change the distance. Also playing with these fields in combination will change the distance between the staves automatically.
-Min. system distance: The minimum distance allowed between one system and the next.
-Max. system distance: The maximum distance allowed between one system and the next.
-Min. staff distance: The minimum distance allowed between one staff and the next.
-Max. staff distance: The maximum distance allowed between one staff and the next.
