Musescore MIDI Export

Hi - I have created notation and have used the mixer to control instrument settings. When I export the notation as a midi file and then import it into a music creation studio such as GarageBand, the sound settings from Musescore such as instrument volume and panning are not included unlike Musescore 3. Am I doing anything wrong?
