MuseScore 4 Files Saving, but Disappearing after Time
On my computer, I lost several compositions that I had spent a lot of time on. While I was working on them, they appeared in the New and Recent section, and I could open them from there. After not working on them for about a week, they disappeared from the New and Recent section. "No problem", I thought I could just find the files on my computer and open them. However, there were no files under MuseScore scores. I then checked my entire computer for the files but to no avail. I filtered for .mscz files and didn't find a single one. Please help me fix this!

I had saved the files several times; first pressing "save as" and then naming it, then saving the file using ctrl + s every time I made changes. Still, the files seem to have just disappeared.

Did you check the cloud?

They are not on the cloud.
Which OS? Linux, macOS, Windows?

I'm having a very similar problem. I have a few scores that I worked really hard on that disappeared from the "New & Recent" tab as well. Checking my account online, the scores still exist, but I'm not able to edit and save them to the cloud via the Musescore 4 application. Knowing that the situation can be distressing at times, I really hope they turn up again soon or better yet undergo a patch that universally fixes this for anyone with a similar problem.
