How to get tremolo in between notes to sustain over a tie without replaying

I have a 32nd tremolo between two chords that I want to tie to the next measure. (Not have it play the notes again, like a tie does.) I've tried tying them, but they play the exact same way as if untied. I want the tremolo to continue into the next measure without a replay.

Alternatively I tried to put the first chord with dotted quarter notes on one side of the measure, and the second chord on the other and "tremolo between notes", but it seems it will not do so between measures.
