merging two diffrent parts into one score

A while back I made a piece for the Alto sax, and then recently I wanted to add a baseline with a Baritone. however, I made the Baritone's part on a whole new file as if it was a separate project. Is there a way for me to merge both files together in a single score?

Yes.

  1. Add a Baritone instrument to the original score containing the Alto sax. The baritone staff will be empty (containing only rests)
  2. Open the old Baritone score
  3. select all measures (pressing Ctl-A should work in this case)
  4. copy (press Clt-C)
  5. go back to the Alto score and paste into the empty Baritone instrument.

  1. Add a Baritone part to your original Alto Sax score.
    On MS4: View > Instruments > Add > choose instrument > transfer to "Your score" > OK
  2. Open your separate Baritone score, select the entire part, Ctrl+C to copy.
  3. Switch to your Alto Sax + Baritone score.
  4. Position the cursor on the first rest of the Baritone part, Ctrl+V to paste.
