Marching Bass Drum Unison Rim Click/knock
So I'm writing a drumline cadence right? There's a unison bass drum hit where all 5 drums hit at the same time. I used drum set editor to make a new note that allows unison rim clicks/knocks, now how do I add a sound to it?

You could use 5 indiviual drum staffs, see Change instrument set-up, but the audio result may not be as good as you may expect coz they are identical waveforms and nothing other than superposition of 5 waves will occur.
If you wish to add your own recorded drum sounds(roundrobin), then you need to study soundfont (sfz or sf2/3) (musescore3, see SoundFonts and SFZ files and dev reference ) or VST sampler (musescore4)
What about adding the stick clicks for Marching Bass Drums, especially w/ Muse sounds Marching Percussion that's going to be added?
