What’s a good work flow to convert individual instrument projects into multipart score

I am wondering if I can find a more efficient workflow to take projects in which I just entered sax parts without selecting an instrument and combine them into a multi instrument score. I’m just starting out with Musescore and I perhaps foolishly entered sax licks because I could read my own hand writing. Then I expanded that to putting the licks in the order they fall in the whole song. Then I added chord symbols for some guidance. Then I added in some lyrics to give me cues where to come in with the sax parts. But I just attached the lyrics to rests and notes in the sax parts. Now that I’ve seen the advantages of multipart scores, I’d like to convert my early projects to multipart. But saxes are transposing instruments.

So far, when I copy and paste from an individual part to a sax part in a score, the notes land way off because the source appears to be concert pitch and the destination is Eb or Bb. While all the notes are still selected in the destination, I can use the up and down arrows to pull the notes back to proper pitch. And I need to manually adjust all the chord symbols. And I don’t need the lyrics imported from each of the sax parts, so I need to delete those measure by measure. I wish I could find a way of moving just the lyrics to a vocal line in the new score.
