Dash within part of a word
Hi. Normally when I use Muscore and want to split a syllable, for example fol-low, the dash is in the center of the word. I pulled in music via the PDF importer. It worked fine (except for triplets (not the problem now)), but when I enter the dash (like usual) it create the word as fol_low (as if U used control and dash). The dash is placed at the bottom and not center. How can it be fixed?

Sample score?

Muscore do not pull in words when importing from PDF. All the words were typed in manually from the original score

Still a sample score is needed to investigate the cause

Attached please find 2 samples. You will see on 2 that the line is at the same place as the dash
The dash vs line is from another score which was written from scratch

How?

I created a new score sheet on Muscore and copied the old score to the new sheet. Text were 100%. With a few features that got missing from the move, I could fix. The main thing was the text. Thanks for your support

Having seen the score itself would have shown what is wrong there and how to fix it.

Sorry I deleted that version when it was fixed. Thanks for your time
Can't really say without the score, but my bet is that you'll simply have to delete that word/those syllables and re-enter them. I've seen that before (in different situation) and that's the only fix I've found.
