Electric Guitar Tablature Capo not working

Tried to add a capo on the second fret for a guitar tab. Not only are the notes not raised a wholetone, one note (2nd fret A string) is raised an octave. When I change it to any other note (except for the 14th fret, same note an octave up), the octave raising goes away. Regardless, I can't get the capo modulation to work. Changing the capo to a different fret either has no effect, or makes the octave raising occur on other notes. I can work around it pretty easily, but wondering if there's an actual fix.
