MS4 unwilling to place notes
MuseScore suddenly stopped being willing to place notes on 1 particular score, and im not sure why. it was recently corrupted (still openable), and i had fixed the error that shows up about it by exporting it as a musicxml file, and then loading it back in MuseScore, but after a little while it broke again, now not allowing me to place notes. whats going on, and how do i fix this?

Please attach that one particular score and explain exactly what note you are trying to place on what measure (or if placing any note anywhere fails).
Without that score no one here can be sure why, either.
