Copy and Paste from KyBd crashes?

Macbook Pro 15" 2016
Monterey Version 12.6.6
16GB
2.6ghz quad core Intel Core 17

Musescore vers. 3.6.2

Copy and pasting from the cmd-c cmd-v crashes immediately. Using the menu copy and paste has no issue.

My MacBook Air 2015 uses identical macOS version and Musescore with any issues.

Other apps have no issues with kybd copy and paste
